WildBrain CPLG and Dr. Seuss Enterprises are expanding two well-known Dr. Seuss properties with a slate of licensing partnerships and collaborations.
The new expansions are bringing an array of content and products for The Cat in the Hat and How the Grinch Stole Christmas! to the UK, Europe and the Asia-Pacific.
These new licensing agreements include:
Multi-Category Collections:
Fizz is launching The Cat in the Hat accessories, games, kitchenware, tableware and pet care items in the UK and Ireland.
In addition, JB Licenses and Bioworld International have signed on for fashion and home goods in Europe.
Primark has launched a collection of nightwear, home goods, beauty products and pet accessories.
Lidl is launching a range of How the Grinch Stole Christmas! apparel, sleepwear, accessories and plush across Europe.
IG Design is creating a licensed gifting collection.
For Benelux, Speelgoedland is set to expand its How the Grinch Stole Christmas! line with additional products across arts & crafts, stationery, watches, clocks and party goods next year.
Takko has been signed as a new direct-to-retail partner, with its first launch planned for fall 2026.
Fashion & Beauty:
Aykroyds & TDP Licensing Limited has signed on for licensed clothing in the UK and Ireland.
Cooneen is also creating a collection of pajamas and nightwear in the same region.
Cribstar has renewed its existing partnership with Dr. Seuss Enterprises for baby and children’s apparel.
Dr. Paw Paw has developed a range of themed lip balms that will be available across the UK and Europe.
In Italy, Coriex is set to deliver licensed fashion bags and accessories.
In Turkey, Ermoda Tekstil has signed on to release a collection of children’s and adult apparel in 2026.
MLP is also developing a range of The Cat in the Hat-inspired clothing in France.
In the Asia-Pacific, Gnoce Trading has unveiled a jewellery collection inspired by both brands that will be available globally through its e-commerce platform.
Lastly, both H&M and Zara have announced new global fashion lines designed for kids and babies.
Home & Lifestyle:
For the UK and Ireland, 8th Wonder is creating a plush armchair and children’s seating collection.
Dreamtex is developing a line of Dr. Seuss themed bedding.
PMS International is launching a selection of seasonal decorations, ornaments and party essentials.
In Germany and Austria, Haribo is debuting Grinch-inspired holiday sweets under its Maoam candy brand.
Geda Labels has signed on to launch licensed kitchen textiles for the brands in 2026.
In Italy, THUN has unveiled a collection of ceramic Christmas decorations.
For Spain, Stor has launched a range of themed lunchware and My Pug & Co has debuted How the Grinch Stole Christmas! pet products and is releasing a line for The Cat in the Hat in 2026.
Toys & Entertainment:
A new animated feature film for The Cat in the Hat will debut on November 6 2026, in a global release from Warner Bros. Pictures Animation and Dr. Seuss Enterprises.
Craft Buddy is bringing a new arts & crafts collection for The Cat in the Hat in the UK and Ireland.
Bluebrixx will introduce a collection of themed building block sets and minifigures.
Lazer Built is launching a consumer electronics collection across Europe that will include a range of branded headphones and cases.
For in-person experiences, Brigit’s Afternoon Tea Bus has added a third Grinch-inspired bus to its touring schedule in London and LPP’s Sinsay brand has hosted a tram takeover in Wrocław and Kraków this November.
Smiffys 2 plans to introduce a collection of dress-up products in 2026.
Rubber Road has signed on to develop licensed collectibles.
Finally, Funiglobal has launched a costume collection for How the Grinch Stole Christmas! and is scheduled to release additional products for The Cat in the Hat next year.
