Invisible Universe has appointed experienced industry executive, Jonathan Schneider, as its new studio president.
Invisible Universe is an internet-first animation studio that specializes in developing and distributing animated character IPs.
The studio initially debuts animated IPs on social media and web3 platforms before expanding the character brands into other segments such as music, publishing, film, games, TV, and licensing.
“Invisible Universe is pioneering what it means to be an animation studio in a digital-first world, blending technology and new approaches to storytelling to develop franchises,” said Schneider. “I’ve been impressed by what Tricia and team have built so far, and I’m thrilled to join them as the studio continues to grow.”
In his new position, Schneider will oversee the growth of the company’s animation studio and media operations by introducing technology such as motion capture, real-time rendering, and artificial intelligence.
He will also use work to extend the studio’s reach into additional media demographics.
“Jonathan is a bit of a Hollywood unicorn in that he has straddled both creative and operations at executive levels for some of the biggest companies in media,” said Invisible Universe CEO, Tricia Biggio. “He shares the vision for Invisible Universe to continue redefining what it means to launch new franchises for this next generation. With deep operational expertise, a creative mindset and a passion for animation, I have no doubt that Jonathan is going to make an incredible addition to our dynamic team.”
Schneider has previously held senior executive positions at companies such as Disney, Nickelodeon and Skydance.
Invisible Universe has launched seven original character brands since it initially debuted in 2018.
