Spin Master has secured the global toy licensing rights for the upcoming Paramount+ original series, Dora.
Produced by Nickelodeon Animation, Dora is a new preschool series that is based on the original Dora the Explorer entertainment franchise.
The upcoming CG-animated preschool series will feature established characters and locations from the Dora the Explorer franchise such as Dora, Boots Backpack, and more.
Scheduled to launch in Spring 2024, the Dora preschool series will be available on Paramount+ and Nickelodeon broadcasting channels internationally and exclusively on Paramount+ in the U.S.

Spin Master is a global children’s entertainment company that develops and distributes high-quality toys, digital games and entertainment media.
The company creates and produces multiplatform content and consumer products based on both proprietary and licensed entertainment brands.
As the global toy partner for Dora, Spin Master is developing an extensive toy collection that will include licensed figures, dolls, playsets, vehicles, plush, roleplay items, games and puzzles.

The Dora toy collection is expected to launch at retail in Fall 2024.

Since the initial debut of the franchise on Nickelodeon in 2000, Dora the Explorer has grown into an expansive multi-media entertainment franchise that is available in a 144 markets worldwide.
The licensing rights for the Dora the Explorer brand is overseen by the consumer products division of Nickelodeon’s parent company, Paramount.
In addition to Nickelodeon, Paramount Consumer Products oversees all of the licensing and merchandising for Paramount’s other entertainment subsidiaries such as BET, Comedy Central, MTV, Paramount Pictures, CBS, and SHOWTIME.
