Scopely has entered a licensing partnership with Bandai Namco to bring Pac-Man branded content to the Stumble Guys video game.
Pac-Man is a long-running arcade video game franchise that was initially released in 1980 by Bandai Namco. Since its initial release, the franchise has grown to include numerous console games, licensed consumer products, film and TV appearances, and more.
Developed by Scopely, Stumble Guys is a free-to-play competitive battle-royale game that features fast-paced multiplayer gameplay, online social mechanics, multiple modes, character customization options and more.
The licensed Pac-Man content for the Stumble Guys game will include new levels, cosmetics, events, collection mechanics and emotes.
In the custom Stumble Guys x Pac-Man game level, players need to collect as many pellets and fruits as possible to rack up a high score while avoiding ghost enemies.
Once all objects have been collected, the map will automatically change into a new version and will continue to change as players advance.
The limited-edition Pac-Man cosmetics will include a range of stumblers, footsteps, victory dances and emotes that can be collected through the themed events, daily missions and tournaments.
The Stumble Guys game is currently available to play on mobile devices but Scopely recently announced plans to debut the property on Xbox and PlayStation video game consoles.
