Reporting directly to David Haddad, President of Warner Bros. Games, Bell will be responsible for the global marketing strategy across the company’s console, mobile, and PC games portfolio.
As a member of the senior leadership team, she will lead the marketing departments, including brand and performance marketing, creative, social, community, analytics and research, and franchise planning. Haddad says her focus will be on scaling Warner’s marketing investments effectively to grow franchises, deepen engagement, and attract new audiences, while guiding the ongoing measurement of key metrics and market indicators to support the company’s goals.
“This important role now combines our marketing functions across all platforms, and we believe Melissa will help us further strengthen our world-class marketing team and consumer facing campaigns,” said Haddad. “We look forward to leveraging Melissa’s 25+ years of leadership experience, global perspective, and insights in our long-term franchise planning to expand audiences and player engagement across our brands.”
Bell says she’s excited to join the team at one of the world’s top entertainment companies.
“I’m thrilled to join the Warner Bros. Games team, and I look forward to working together to drive Warner Bros. Discovery’s franchises to new heights in gaming,” said Bell. “Collaborating with the talented team at Warner Bros. Games is an exhilarating opportunity, as we will continue to craft compelling brand stories and create cultural moments that captivate players worldwide.”
