Kids Preferred has partnered with Peanuts Worldwide for a licensed collection that celebrates the 75th anniversary of the Peanuts franchise.
“We are beyond thrilled to announce the partnership between Kids Preferred and Peanuts,” said Kids Preferred president, Larry Presser. “There are very few brands in the marketplace as iconic and trusted as Peanuts. We look forward to developing innovative infant toy lines to help usher in new generations of Snoopy fans.”
Launching in 2025, the Peanuts x Kids Preferred collection will include a wide variety of products designed for infants and toddlers.
The licensed 75th anniversary product range will include soft books, baby blankets, infant plush, wooden toys and a bath toy playset.
“Peanuts has endured for 75 years because the strip deals with real emotions and promotes positive messages and lessons, including friendship, inclusivity, responsibility and resilience,” said Peanuts Worldwide VP, Scott Shillet. “Our goal is to develop a line of high-quality infant products across soft lines, hard lines and publishing that tie back to these lessons and allow parents to share their love of Peanuts with their children.”
The products included in the Peanuts collection will feature depictions of licensed Peanuts characters such as Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Woodstock, Lucy, Franklin, Pigpen and more.
Since its initial creation by Charles M. Schulz in 1950 as a newspaper comic strip, the Peanuts IP has expanded into a global entertainment franchise that includes an extensive array of animated TV shows, stage productions, licensed consumer products, published works, live experiences, digital media and more.
The Peanuts brand, characters and other related intellectual property are owned by Peanuts Worldwide.
Peanuts Worldwide is jointly-owned and operated by WildBrain, Sony Music Entertainment and the family of Peanuts creator, Charles M. Schulz.
