Acme Character Studio has partnered with Warner Bros. Discovery to create a customizable digital experience and integrated shop, featuring Scooby-Doo and Mystery Inc.
Part of Acme Innovation, Acme Character Studio is a tech company that develops immersive digital experiences and consumer products in partnership with licensed brands and entertainment IP.
The new Scooby Doo digital experience created by Acme Character Studio allows fans to build their own Mystery Inc. persona or avatar through an immersive character creation process that can be used to create custom Scooby Doo merchandise, such as graphic novels, posters and apparel.
The experience begins with a free Q&A session with Shaggy and Scooby-Doo that includes new dialogue voiced by Matthew Lillard and Frank Welker.
Fans can speak to the characters using their device’s microphone or keyboard, and Shaggy or Scooby will answer based on their responses.
The information provided in the interview will be used to shape the character’s name and personality traits later on in the experience.

Following the interview, the experience will provide an in-depth character designer that offers customization options such as body type, face shape, complexion, hairdo, clothing and more, so users can craft their original character for the Scooby Gang.
The integrated ACME Character Studio e-shop offers several exclusive merchandise options based on your character’s appearance and personality.
This includes an original graphic novel retelling of the 1969 Scooby-Doo episode, What a Night for a Knight, with the customized character integrated into the gang.
Available as either a hardcover print or a PDF e-book, the graphic novel includes dialogue and story elements that change based on the results given in the personality interview with Scooby and Shaggy.
The licensed online store also includes two apparel designs that include Mystery Inc. and the custom character with the backdrop of a haunted castle or a frightening forest.
The custom Scooby-Doo poster featured in the e-shop includes a matte-finished art design of the Mystery Inc. gang and the customized character.
The licensing rights to the Scooby Doo franchise are owned by Warner Bros. Discovery.
