Dollhouse Pictures and Foundation Media have launched a partnership to produce a licensed film adaptation of Anh Do’s bestselling novel series Wolf Girl.
“The Wolf Girl book series has brought joy to millions of children around the world,” said Anh Do. “This film adaptation will bring happiness to millions more. I’m absolutely delighted that the powerhouse Foundation Media and Dollhouse Pictures are teaming up with me to make this happen.”
First released in Australia by the Allen & Unwin publishing company, Wolf Girl is an adventure-thriller series that follows a young girl named Gwen who must learn to survive in the wilderness with her new family of canines after getting separated from her human parents.
The Wolf Girl novels are scheduled for launch in the U.S. market in March 2025 through HarperCollins Children’s Books.
“Anh Do’s storytelling is so compelling,” said Dollhouse Pictures co-founder, Rose Byrne. “It’s impossible not to get swept into the adventurous world of Gwen and her faithful canine friends. Themes of courage, resilience and friendship emerge across an epic landscape—these are wonderful aspirational characters who create a formidable family bond,” added Byrne. “I couldn’t be more excited to champion Wolf Girl’s transition to screen with my partners at Dollhouse, Foundation Media and HarperCollins.”
