The Global Icons agency has signed a partnership with Omaha Steaks to develop a multi-category licensing program based on the gourmet food brand.
Per the terms of the agreement, Global Icons will work to expand Omaha Steaks by securing licensing partnerships with brands across multiple product categories.
The licensing program will have a particular focus on developing partnerships with companies that offer high-quality lifestyle, luxury, cooking and culinary products.
“Our partnership with Global Icons will both increase access to Omaha Steaks’ legendary products and further expand our product offering to include exciting new options that our loyal customers will enjoy,” said Omaha Steaks CEO, Nate Rempe.
First founded in 1917, Omaha Steaks is a family-owned company that focuses on marketing and distributing a wide variety of high-quality meats, meals, side dishes and desserts.
The company specializes in providing its customers with USDA-approved grass-fed beef, as well as seafood, pork, poultry and other culinary offerings through its direct-to-consumer channels and retail partnerships.
“We are thrilled to partner with Omaha Steaks, a brand synonymous with quality and tradition,” said Global Icons CEO, Jeff Lotman. “Our goal is to extend Omaha Steaks’ exceptional reputation into new product areas that resonate with their loyal customers and attract new fans.”
Initially launched in 1997, Global Icons is a full-service licensing agency that works to increase consumer engagement for its clients through brand expansion, licensing collaborations, product development and distribution partnerships.
The agency’s extensive roster of clients includes well-known corporate brands such as Automobili Lamborghini, Betty Boop, Great American Cookies, Colgate-Palmolive, Danone, Fatburger, Volkswagen, Hostess and more.
