Mattel, Inc. will unveil new additions to its Hot Wheels Formula 1 collection at the upcoming Nuremberg International Toy Fair.
The new line is being issued following the success Mattel and Formula 1 enjoyed with the first collection in 2024, and includes a range of collectible cars and race track sets, offering fans an opportunity to bring the thrill of Formula 1 into their homes.
The collection features eight Formula 1 teams across various product tiers, including 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Singles, 5-pack assortments, and premium models. Designed to perform on Hot Wheels’ signature orange tracks, the premium cars boast intricate details such as metal chassis, authentic team liveries, and Pirelli-branded tires.
Two new track sets, the Sprint Race Circuit and Grand Prix Race Circuit, are also launching in 2025. These sets include features like gas pedal boosters, manual DRS diverters, and lap counters, providing high-octane, competitive play for kids and collectors alike.
“The response from fans to our partnership with Formula 1 has been incredible,” said Roberto Stanichi, Executive Vice President of Hot Wheels. “This next phase of the collaboration allows us to combine Hot Wheels’ iconic design with the excitement of F1, giving fans a tangible connection to the sport.”
Emily Prazer, Chief Commercial Officer at Formula 1, added, “This collection brings the drama and excitement of Formula 1 into the hands of fans worldwide, further deepening their passion for the sport.”
Key highlights of the 2025 collection include:
- Hot Wheels Formula 1 Singles: Featuring team-specific designs, available now for Oracle Red Bull Racing and rolling out for other teams like Mercedes-AMG PETRONAS and Williams Racing later this year.
