Popeyes and Tequila Don Julio are releasing a co-branded Championship Lineup menu to celebrate the upcoming Super Bowl in New Orleans.
Available for a limited time, the collaborative menu offers two meal options and one beverage that combine Popeyes’ Louisiana-style cuisine with the flavors of Tequila Don Julio Reposado.
The headline item for the menu is an exclusive concha chicken sandwich that features ingredients and toppings that utilise Tequila Don Julio Reposado.
The licensed chicken sandwich is made with a buttery concha roll, a buttermilk-breaded chicken fillet that is marinated in Reposado tequila, tequila lime slaw, spicy spread and a barrel-cured pickle.
Other items featured on the menu include Tequila Don Julio Reposado-flavored Louisiana garlic wings and a spicy strawberry hibiscus-flavored lemonade mocktail.
Available from January 31 until Game Day on February 9, the Championship Lineup menu can be found at Popeyes’ recently redesigned flagship restaurant on Canal Street in New Orleans.
In addition to the multi-day activation at Popeyes’ Canal Street location, select Popeyes restaurants across the country have received a one-day only preview of the licensed Championship Lineup menu on January 31.
