Mike’s Hot Honey and Blue Diamond have launched a collaborative partnership for licensed Hot Honey Almonds.
Brokered by Brandgenuity, the partnership offers a new snack option that blends the distinct flavors of Mike’s Hot Honey with Blue Diamond’s high-quality roasted almonds.
“Like Blue Diamond, Mike’s Hot Honey shares a love and passion for flavor and innovation,” said Mike’s Hot Honey founder, Mike Kurtz. “It was an easy and exciting yes when the opportunity to collaborate with them came to us. Sweet heat plus crunch is always a winning combination in my book, and I couldn’t be more pleased with how the product turned out.”
Created in 2010 by Mike Hurtz, Mike’s Hot Honey is a condiment brand that uses 100% natural honey that is infused with hot chili peppers.
Following a massive surge in popularity the condiment can now be found in thousands of restaurants and retailers across the U.S. and Canada.
“Partnering with Mike’s Hot Honey allowed us to create something truly unique for snack lovers,” said Blue Diamond VP, Maya Erwin. “Consumers crave big, exciting flavors, and these almonds deliver a mouthwatering combination of crunch, sweetness and heat that only Blue Diamond and Mike’s Hot Honey can provide.”
The co-branded product has been added to Blue Diamond’s existing collection of Bold snacking almonds that includes spicy seasonings like Sweet Thai Chili, Habenaro BBQ, Sriracha, Wasabi & Soy Sauce, Korean BBQ and more.
Initially established in 1910, Blue Diamond is an American agricultural cooperative that represents approximately 3000 almond growers across California.
The company currently employs more than 1,500 people throughout its processing plants, receiving stations and gift shops.
The licensed almonds are available for purchase through both Amazon and Walmart.
