Krispy Kreme and Hulu have launched a licensed doughnut collection inspired by popular cinema snacks.
Launched on February 17, the collection features four doughnut flavors that are based on classic theater treats like blue raspberry slushies, caramel popcorn, chocolate cookie dough and candy.
“This first-ever collaboration with Hulu lets our fans enjoy their favorite movie snack flavors with their favorite doughnut while streaming their favorite movie,” said Krispy Kreme chief growth officer, Dave Skena. “That’s a good night!”
The Blue Raspberry Slush doughnut is an original glazed doughnut that is dipped in blue raspberry icing and sanding sugar.
The Caramel Popcorn doughnut starts with an unglazed shell doughnut that is filled with caramel popcorn-flavored Kreme filling, dipped in white icing and then covered in caramel popcorn and red icing drizzles.
The Cookie Dough Superstar doughnut is an unglazed shell doughnut filled with chocolate butterkreme, dipped in chocolate icing and topped with gold glitter sprinkles and cookie dough bites.
The Candy Double Feature doughnut is an original glazed that is dipped in white icing, topped with chocolate candy pieces, chocolate chips and a chocolate icing dizzle.
As part of the exclusive partnership, Krispy Kreme is also offering an online giveaway event that will give fans a chance to win a free one-year subscription to the Hulu streaming platform.
Available for a limited time, the licensed collection is available for purchase from Krispy Kreme’s dedicated app, website and doughnut shops.
It can also be acquired through the company’s network of retail partners.
