Fresh out of batarangs? Need new rockets for the Batmobile? Fret not, Dark Knight; Amazon has you covered.
Warner Bros. and DC this week launched products on Everything For Your Batcave found on Amazon, featuring exclusive Batman products and more. The products on Amazon are a part of Warner Bros.’ sweeping global consumer products program, which is now reaching its peak as the long awaited film was released this week to a massive $120 million weekend haul.
With exclusive art from the acclaimed DC comic artist Jim Cheung, Everything for Your Batcave has turned collectibles shopping into an adventure worthy of any Super Hero.
Warner Bros. says the new, dedicated store launched this week in advance of The Batman film’s release on March 4 in North America and international release beginning March 2. The art-inspired shopping experience immerses shoppers in a panoramic Batcave where toys, apparel, comics, baby items, collectibles and more are just a click away. Clickable sketches allow fans to access all their favorites while being immersed in storytelling.
The store is an extension of Amazon’s continuing drive to work directly with licensors to further their DTC (Direct-to-Customer) marketing goals. Typically these agreements include exclusive merchandise for Amazon customers, which has certainly been the case in the Everything For Your Batcave store.
The Batcave store has already put up several new products, and can be found at: www.amazon.com/batman
Some of those products include the Batman Solo Cave T-Shirt and The Batcave Wall Poster, both with art by Jim Cheung, and several other exclusives with Cheung’s art including: apparel, tote bags, phone cases and pillows. Additionally, we spotted several other products, some of them exclusive, such as the Hauck Batmobile Pedal Go Kart, Superhero Ride-On Batman Vehicle, the Fisher-Price Imaginext Batman 80th Anniversary 5-Pack [Amazon Exclusive] & Imaginext DC Super Friends, Batmobile & Cycle, the Rubie’s Super Hero Cape Set – 4 Capes, 2 Masks, and 2 Headbands, One Size, and the Hot Wheels DC Character Cars 5-Pack of 1:64 Scale Collectible Vehicles Themed to Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, The Joker GT and Harley Quinn.
The new Amazon store is a part of Warner Bros.’ sweeping global consumer products program, which is now reaching its peak as the long awaited film is released this week.
The Matt Reeves-directed film avoids the idea of another origin story for the character, and instead shows The Batman in the second year of his career as Gotham’s most famous vigilante. Played by Robert Pattinson, The Batman faces one of his greatest challenges as he faces off with gangsters while tracking down a sinister serial killer going by the name The Riddler.
