IMG today announced it has been appointed as New York-based artist Matthew Langille’s exclusive licensing representative in Asia.
“I’ve been working in the space where fashion and art meet for the past eighteen years on my own,” said Langille. “I’m thrilled to have the full support of IMG behind me to help extend my artwork’s global reach and create exciting collaborations with all the amazing brands in the region. I am excited for what’s to come!”
The global licensing agency will be tasked with developing a licensing program of products, experiences and collaborations that reflect the upbeat and humorous style of the artist, who has worked on global collaborations with some of the world’s best-known brands and with clients including Beyoncé, Swatch, Lacoste, Marc Jacobs, and Casetify.
Multiple categories will be explored from apparel and fashion accessories to cosmetics, houseware, food & beverage, and location-based experiences.
“We are excited to be working with Matthew Langille in Asia to extend his unique graphics, patterns, drawings and prints across new categories, local brand collaborations, and influencer campaigns,” said Langille. “We will be tapping into our extensive local network to amplify his influence and build engagement with fans across Asia.”
