WildBrain has signed multiple international sales agreements for the children’s entertainment series, The Brilliant World of Tom Gates.
The Brilliant World of Tom Gates is a TV series based on the bestselling Tom Gates book series by Liz Pichon. The popular book series was written and illustrated by Pichon and published by Scholastic.
The novel series features extensive illustrations and a handwritten font to emulate the feeling of reading a diary. It follows the comedic adventures of Tom Gates as he interacts with school, friends, and family. The series has been translated into 46 languages worldwide.
The TV adaptation of The Brilliant World of Tom Gates is a Sky Original series produced by TG Entertainment Ltd. with additional investment from The National Lottery, Screen Scotland, and WildBrain.
The executive producers of the Tom Gate’s TV series include Ken Anderson from Wild Child Animation, Arabella Page Croft from Black Camel, author and illustrator Liz Pichon, and Ian France, Commissioning Editor at Sky.

The global entertainment and brand licensing company, WildBrain holds the global distribution rights to the first and second season of The Brilliant World of Tom Gates, the Tom Gates Christmas special and the upcoming Halloween special, A Monster Halloween.
WildBrain has signed new sales across multiple key territories across the globe. These new deals include Da Vinci and Vudu in the United States for seasons one and two. RTP in Portugal and Wiz Hop! Media Group in Israel for season one.
Wildbrain has also inked deals with PCCW Now TV in Hong Kong for season two and Knowledge Kids and TVOkids in Canada for season two and the Christmas special.
These agreements add to the previously announced broadcast and streaming partners for season one, including ABC in Australia, Knowledge Kids and TVOkids in Canada, JOJKO and Tuki Channel in Slovakia, E-Vision and eJunior in MENA and Pakistan, MBC Group’s streaming platform Shahid in MENA and PCCW Now TV in Hong Kong.
