Following a partnership for the Assassin’s Creed Valhalla brand earlier this year, Ubisoft and Fabacus are joining forces for Assassin’s Creed’s 15th anniversary.
The agreement between the two companies was brokered by the licensing division of the global entertainment company, IMG.
Fabacus is a global software developer that is known for its proprietary technology, Xelacore. Xelacore is a data-based service for the licensing and retail industry that is designed to increase connectivity between licensers, licensees, and consumers.
“We have loved working with the Fabacus team and are pleased to be continuing and broadening our work with them on our exciting Assassin’s Creed projects in the coming months,” said Addie Dorsey, Consumer Products EMEA at Ubisoft.
“At Ubisoft, we are celebrating the milestone of the beloved franchise with all teams and communities and want to ensure we’re giving as much possible back to our fans, players, and consumers, with some incredible prizes to be won. Additionally, the capabilities of the Fabacus technology ensure our vision for the franchise future, as well as future partnerships and products, are strategically aligned to what fans want to see and engage with.”
Fabacus and Ubisoft will be working with a number of global licensee partners for the brand’s six-month long anniversary celebration. These partners will include the fashion brand, Difuzed and the collectibles manufacturer, Pure Arts.
Select licensed products for the Assassin’s Creed anniversary will feature codes that unlock digital rewards and experiences. The rewards will include both in-game and physical items such as Assassin’s Creed Displates, vinyl box sets, figurines, and exclusive digital wallpapers.
“To be extending our partnership and working with the team at Ubisoft in such an important anniversary year for the Assassin’s Creed brand is incredibly exciting for us,” said Andrew Xeni, CEO & Founder of Fabacus.
“The innovation gives value to every party within the licensing value chain, including the all-important consumer, maximizing the significance and impact of a brand. We have seen impressive results through our previous Valhalla x Venum campaign, and only want to take this further as part of the wider brand anniversary, now across a number of licensee partners.”
Ubisoft is also offering consumers unique discounts, new product lines, and localised fan events for the Assassin’s Creed anniversary celebration.
Ubisoft is a global video game developer that represents a large portfolio of licensed games and online services. Since the company first launched the Assassin’s Creed franchise in 2007, the series has grown to include other forms of entertainment media such as numerous published works and a film adaptation.
