Sony Pictures Television and GameMill Entertainment have released a new licensed video game based on the Cobra Kai TV series.
The video game is called Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising. It serves as a sequel to the first licensed video game, Cobra Kai: The Karate Kid Saga Continues.
The game is inspired by the action-comedy series, Cobra Kai, which is currently in its fifth season on Netflix. The Cobra Kai series is written and executive produced by Josh Heald, Jon Hurwitz and Hayden Schlossberg via their production company, Counterbalance Entertainment. The franchise is owned and distributed by the global entertainment company, Sony Pictures Television.
Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising was developed by Flux Game Studio and features multiple modes, 28 different playable characters, and both online and offline multiplayer capabilities.
An upgraded version of the game, called the Nemesis Edition, is available for purchase exclusively through the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, Nintendo eShop, and Steam.
The Nemesis Edition lets players control five different enemy characters in the All Valley Tournament Mode including Hammer, Bo, Gabriel, Skeleton Lord, and Terry Silver. It also adds a jukebox feature with the game’s original score by the Cobra Kai composers, Zach Robinson and Leo Birenberg.
GameMill Entertainment was responsible for publishing Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising. GameMill is a third-party publisher of video games for both consoles and mobile devices.
Cobra Kai 2: Dojos Rising is available for purchase on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via the Steam gaming platform.
