The Smith snowsports manufacturer has partnered with Crayola to develop a co-branded capsule collection of colorful snow goggles.
The licensed snow goggle collection features hand-drawn strap designs inspired by Crayola art products. All goggle models included in the collection are designed for integration with Smith brand helmets for comfort and fog-free performance.
The Smith snowsports eyewear manufacturing company was originally founded in 1965 by Dr. Bob Smith, a licensed optometrist. Since Smith’s initial creation, the brand has continued to develop cutting-edge lens technology to enhance visual clarity during snowsports activities. Smith has also expanded into helmet manufacturing for skiing, snowboarding, and biking.
Each co-branded goggle comes with a custom goggle bag for storage and cleaning. The design of the goggle bags was influenced by the classic Crayola crayon box. The licensed collection includes three different types of snow goggles for children, youth, and adults.
“For nearly 120 years, Crayola has inspired creativity and wonderment in children and children-at-heart,” said Warren Schorr, Senior Vice President at Crayola.
“Our collaboration with Smith provides a playful, artistic outlet for outdoor enthusiasts to express that sense of exploration and discovery this winter season.”
For children, the Gambler snow goggle design is available which features the Crayola Forest Green color, a medium fit and storm-sealing comfort.
The Rascal goggle design is available for youth which features the Crayola Periwinkle color, a small-frame silhouette, and fog-free lens technology.
Both the Rascal and the Gambler models are compatible with prescription eyewear. The floating foam membrane of the goggles is designed to eliminate temple pressure from eyeglasses.
For adults and teens, the Squad goggle design is offered in Crayola Red Orange with a ChromaPop Everyday Green Mirror cylindrical lens to enhance contrast and natural color. This design features a medium-sized Responsive Fit frame that adjusts to the face and a two-layer DriWix face foam to keep away moisture and minimize lens fog.
The new Smith x Crayola co-branded snow goggle collection is currently available at select retailers worldwide and online on the Smith e-commerce website.
