All American Licensing has been appointed by Relativity Worldwide as its exclusive brand licensing agent for PowerTown Wrestling.
PowerTown Wrestling is a recently-launched collectible action figure line that features professional wrestlers from the past eight decades.
The brand initially launched in fall of 2022 with the Series 1 Ultra collection, which includes action figures designed to look like Verne Gagne, Lou Thesz, Stan Hansen, Bruiser Brody, Magnum TA, and Kerry Von Erich.
“We are pleased to get in the ring with All American Licensing to develop a merchandising program for PowerTown Wrestling,” said Relativity Worldwide co-founder, Steve Rosenthal. “Based on the incredibly successful launch of the action figures, we are eager to provide our loyal fanbase with more options for them to collect and honor these iconic wrestlers of yesteryear.”
The licensing and merchandising program by All American Licensing will focus on a broad range of categories including apparel, accessories, games, social expressions, food, home furnishings and more.
“Working with a brand such as PowerTown Wrestling opens the door to so many different categories and product extensions, making the possibilities almost endless,” said All American Licensing’s Don Rothwell. “Couple that with the brand’s loyal fanbase, and we have the makings for an incredible successful licensing program. We already have strong interest in the brand and some initial products may be available as early as this fall.”
In addition to the licensed consumer product program, Relativity Worldwide is developing a new PowerTown Wrestling action figure line called Ultra Series 2. The second PowerTown Wrestling collection is expected to hit retail in fall 2023.
