Art Ask Agency says its partner Moleskine has launched its second collection of three luxury dated journals, based on the art of Frida Kahlo.
After the success of the first collection launched in 2020, Art Ask says this second collection will also be distributed worldwide in stationery stores, airport stores and top end department stores at the end of 2022.
The collection is designed to inspire fans to seize the creative moment and express their own truth, in words or drawings, the partners say. Each colorful agenda in the collection reflects Frida Kahlo’s vibrant artistic approach and introspective nature, in unique and sophisticated Moleskine interpretation, featuring iconic elements and quotes from the artist.
“Frida Kahlo is a modern icon: difficult to constrain even within a definition, her persona is as inspiring as her art, so strong and decisive in her sharp naivete,” said Moleskine Brand and Communication Director Anna Meneguzzo. “Moleskine is proud to join forces with the Frida Kahlo Corporation to celebrate such a free mindset, such a remarkable artist and woman with a Limited Edition Collection dedicated to her.”
The Moleskine notebook is the heir and successor to the legendary notebooks used by artists and thinkers over the past two centuries, among them Vincent Van Gogh, Pablo Picasso, Ernest Hemingway and Bruce Chatwin.
Today Moleskine offers an eco-system of objects designed to inspire imaginations and fuel creative practice, versatile tools for both everyday and extraordinary journeys: notebooks, journals, bags, luggage, apps, writing instruments and reading accessories which complement each other in form and function.
