Earlier this fall, Bokksu announced the acquisition of the Japanese pop culture start-up company, Japan Crate, which specializes in creating pop culture themed snack, beverage, and treat boxes with products sourced from the Japanese market. The acquisition of Japan Crate will give Bokksu immediate access to North American retail partners such as World Market, Hot Topic, FYE, and more.
Initially founded in by Danny Taing in 2015, Bokksu is a proud LGBTQ+ and AAPI-owned company. The company’s work force is comprised of over 80% BIPOC, female, and/or LGBTQ staff members.
