No, that’s not a typo in the headline.
The Brand Liaison licensing agency as just hired by 4-year-old CEO Wynnie Chapman and her ‘mom-preneur’ Hailee to represent their hair care brand Wynnie Bynnie.
The Brand Liaison is one of America’s top licensing agencies, representing both licensors and licensees in the categories of Fashion, Entertainment, Character, Children, Pet, Home, Sports, Food & Beverage, and Art brands.
The mom-founded Wynnie Bynnie brand is already shaking up the children’s health and beauty market with innovative products and a unique multi-tiered licensing approach. As part of its initial launch, Wynnie Bynnie products are now carried at 800 Walmart outlets, and the company has secured a critical licensing deal with leading manufacturer the BHM Beauty Company.
BHM brings more than 20 years experience in producing top quality health and beauty products.
“We are thrilled to be working with the Wynnie Bynnie brand,” said the Brand Liaison founder Steven Heller, who is somewhat older than Wynnie Bynnie’s CEO. “The adorable art and innovative products are the brand pillars of this emerging brand, that is already making an impact in the children’s hair care and beauty marketplace.”
A central pillar of the brand narrative is the company’s story telling through a lovable cast of characters known as ‘Wynnie & The Bynnie Bounce Crew,’ each with their own unique hairstyle. The Bounce Crew characters include Paco Panda, Uni Unicorn, Bynnie Birdie, and Lolo Lion, all of whom are designed to inspire children to “embrace their natural selves and express their authenticity boldly.”
“They empower them to do so, promoting the values of uniqueness, individuality, and self-expression and instilling a sense of pride in their hair,” the company says. “Wynnie is one of the youngest CEOs in America, and her goal is to spread positivity and inspiration throughout the African-American community one curl at a time.”
The Brand Liaison’s Vice President of Licensing Katey Gabrielson says fostering diversity and inclusion in America is core to the company’s philosophy.
“Wynnie Bynnie, a trailblazing brand with a rich heritage spanning three generations of Black ownership, is more than just about hair care,” Gabrielson says. “It stands as a beacon of diversity and inclusion in children’s retail, inspiring us all.”
Hailee Chapman, the founder of Wynnie Bynnie, says the goal in partnering with The Brand Liaison is to build a best-in-class family of licensees across all kid’s product categories, and to create high-quality products that every parent can afford.
“Specializing in hair products tailored for kids with curly, wavy, and kinky hair textures, Wynnie Bynnie not only provides essential care solutions but also fosters a sense of pride and confidence in children’s individuality,” said Chapman.
