Bulldog Licensing has signed three new licensing partners for the Tatty Teddy: Me to You brand on behalf of its client Carte Blanche Greetings.
The new licensing partners for the Tatty Teddy: Me to You brand include Craft Buddy, Brand Threads and Pawprint Family.
Tatty Teddy: Me to You began as a character-based greeting card brand that debuted in 1987. Since the brand’s initial creation, Tatty Teddy: Me to You has expanded to include a cross-category licensing program for adults, children and infants.
“These new additions to the ever-growing Me to You licensing program underline the appeal of our signature character Tatty Teddy and its continuing opportunities for growth in multiple categories,” said Carte Blanche Greetings CEO, Alister Marchant. “On the back of our recent partnership with Card Factory which sees the brand extend its reach into over 1,000 additional rooftops, this presents a wonderful opportunity for all of our licensees, both current and future, and, thanks to our collaboration with Bulldog, everybody’s favourite cute grey bear is going from strength to strength.”
Craft Buddy is an arts and crafts company that specializes in making and supplying craft kits. For the licensing deal with Me to You, Craft Buddy is releasing Tatty Teddy themed Crystal Art kits which lets consumers create custom Tatty Teddy crystal stickers, notebooks, greeting cards and more.
The products will be available on the official Craft Buddy website, in addition to arts & crafts and gift shops across the UK.
The Brand Threads fashion label will be producing a collection of Tatty Teddy-inspired daywear, nightwear and swimwear for both adults and children.
Owned by Cooneen by Design, Brand Threads supplies its products through its online store and through retailers such as John Lewis and Next.
Pawprint Family is launching a range of licensed Tatty Teddy pins and applique patches this summer on Pawprint Family’s online store and other online sales channels.
“These licensing partnerships with respected players in their field are further evidence of the positive response to Me to You and its delightful imagery,” said Bulldog Licensing MD, Rob Corney. “We’re looking forward to many more announcements as Tatty Teddy’s charm and beautiful design open the door to more and more licensing opportunities in the coming months.”
The style guides and assets for the Me to You brand are jointly developed by Carte Blanche’s in-house studio and the external design agency Dot Dash.
