Drag queen icon RuPaul has sashayed into a tiny but fierce licensing deal for miniature figurines with Fisher Price.
First introduced in 2019, the Little People Collector brand is part of Fisher-Price’s expansion into the adult collector demographic.
The Little People Collector brand capitalizes on the nostalgic value of the Little People form-factor and features well-loved entertainment characters and pop-culture icons.
RuPaul is one such pop-culture icon. He originally came to fame through the world of drag and has since grown to be an internationally known entertainer.
RuPaul has currently received 11 TV awards, released 14 studio albums, and starred in 14 seasons of his popular TV series, Rupaul’s Drag Race.
The newly released Little People Collector RuPaul figure set comes with 3-inch replicas of signature RuPaul fashions, both in and out of drag.
The first two looks include a purple gown and a pink gown, as well as RuPaul’s iconic big and blonde hairstyles. The dresses are based on real-life outfits that have been worn by RuPaul.
The third look features RuPaul out of drag in a fancy suit with color schemes and elements of the two previous gown looks.
The licensed product packaging comes with spotlights, glitter designs and an official sign-off from RuPaul.
Currently available for purchase on the official Mattel website, the Little People Collector RuPaul set is priced at $14.99.
