Just call her the “Bobblehead of State.”
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum has released a series of limited edition bobbleheads of Queen Elizabeth II to celebrate the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.
Queen Elizabeth II has become the first monarch in British history to achieve 70 years of service. The Queen ascended to the throne in 1952, after the death of her father King George VI.
“We are excited to release these bobbleheads of Queen Elizabeth II to celebrate her Platinum Jubilee,” said Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum.
“This is an unbelievable milestone deserving of these special bobbleheads to honor and celebrate the Queen!”
To celebrate the 70 year anniversary, a four-day national holiday weekend is being held from June 2 until June 5. The holiday is referred to as Platinum Jubilee Weekend.
The special-edition Queen Elizabeth bobbleheads were produced by the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum. The Museum houses the world’s largest collection of bobbleheads and features dozens of exhibits related to the history and creation of bobbleheads.
The National Bobblehead Hall of Fame also produces high quality, customized bobbleheads for retail sale across the country.
The Queen Elizabeth bobbleheads are dressed in a long coat, a round hat, a diamond brooch, and a leather bag. The bobblehead features a name plate and a replica of Buckingham Palace, which is placed behind the Queen.
The bobblehead is available in eight colors including red, orange, yellow, green, light blue, royal blue, purple, and gold. They are currently available for purchase exclusively through the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum’s Online Store.
