The Compass Coffee Talk podcast has secured a guest appearance from Ibraheem Basir, the founder and CEO of sustainable food brand A Dozen Cousins.
Hosted by Bill Capsalis and Steven Hoffman, Compass Coffee Talk features conversations with executives from the natural and eco-friendly CPG (consumer packaged goods) industry.
The information provided by the live webinar podcast series is intended to guide entrepreneurs and businesses looking to expand their influence in the natural, organic, and sustainable product market.
The upcoming interview with Ibraheem Basir will focus on the development of his A Dozen Cousins food brand, in addition to Basir’s ongoing philanthropic initiatives.
A Dozen Cousins is a natural food brand that specializes in developing products based on traditional Creole, Caribbean and Latin American cuisine.
Basir launched A Dozen Cousins to fill a gap in the sustainable CPG market for authentic and nutritious cultural foods.
In addition to his work as CEO of A Dozen Cousins, Basir is a founding board member of the nonprofit organization, Project Potluck. Project Potluck provides mentorship, advocacy, and educational programming to support people of color that work in the CPG industry.
In March 2022, Project Potluck won New Hope Network’s inaugural Justice Award for its efforts to promote equity, diversity and inclusion in the natural and organic products industry.
The upcoming Compass Coffee Talk webinar with Ibraheem Basir is scheduled to take place on July 19, 2023.
