The gaming accessories brand CRKD has announced the launch of the NEO S Purple Wave Edition, designed for rhythm-based games like Fortnite Festival.
As the rhythm gaming genre experiences a resurgence, the NEO S Purple Wave Edition is meant to solidify CRKD’s position as a leader in innovative gaming solutions. This special edition controller offers unique features, including the new Festival Attachment, to enhance gameplay and immersion.The NEO S Purple Wave Edition, compatible with PC and Nintendo Switch, brings a fresh twist to rhythm gaming with its Festival Attachment. This ergonomically designed add-on replicates guitar frets, allowing players to enjoy a more immersive experience. Fans of classic rhythm games such as Guitar Hero and Rock Band will feel right at home, while the controller also supports other instruments like keytar, drums, mic, and bass in Fortnite Festival.
Developed by a team with roots in creating hardware for Guitar Hero and DJ Hero, the NEO S Purple Wave Edition aims to deliver the ultimate music gaming experience. “The Festival Attachment adds a new dimension of fun for gamers,” said Stephen Withers, Product Manager for CRKD. “This controller offers the 
easiest, most inclusive way to play Fortnite Festival and brings rhythm gaming to a new level.”Beyond its rhythm game capabilities, the NEO S Purple Wave Edition is a versatile, high-performance controller. It features Hall-Effect Thumbsticks to eliminate stick drift, integrated motion controls, adjustable trigger sensitivity, and customizable back buttons. The controller also supports Bluetooth connectivity, making it compatible with smart TVs, mobile devices, and tablets.
The NEO S includes Fortnite Festival-licensed artwork, a compact wireless design, and a host of customization options, such as adjustable vibration and swappable stick tops. For collectors, the controller integrates with CRKD’s True Collection System, a mobile app that tracks hardware rarity and allows users to customize settings via the CRKD CTRL feature.
The NEO S Purple Wave Edition is available for purchase now and is expected to ship globally between November 29 and December 6.
