Princess Sam Consumer Products (PSCP) has appointed Empire Multimedia Corporation as its licensing agent for Tara Duncan across multiple territories in the Asia-Pacific region.
Empire Multimedia Corporation (EMC) is a marketing and licensing company that specializes in brand management and character licensing.
“With more than three decades’ experience in highly relevant brands, EMC is an ideal partner for the Tara Duncan licensing campaign,” said PSCP head, Laurent Taieb. “Together we aim to build on the enormous popularity of the Tara Duncan series by supporting this exciting brand in a number of key markets.”
Founded in the Philippines over 30 years ago, EMC has significant experience representing a wide range of brands for direct-to-retail licensing opportunities, location-based attractions, multi-level marketing networks, licensed consumer products and more.
As the new Asia-Pacific representative for the brand, EMC will be responsible for managing Tara Duncan’s licensing rights in the Philippines, Indonesia, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong and Taiwan.
“Resilience, commitment and love for what we do are the reasons why we are still successful after 30 years,” said EMC president, Hubert S Co. “Empire has been home to many major brands and plans to work with many more as we all move forward. That’s why we’re delighted that PSCP has chosen EMC to manage licensing for Tara Duncan, a brand with massive potential in all our target markets.”
Tara Duncan is an animated children’s fantasy series that has been distributed in more than 80 countries worldwide. The first season of the animated series officially launched in 2022 and a second season is currently in development.
The Tara Duncan IP was initially released as a book series in 2003 by the founder and CEO of Princess Sam Entertainment Group, Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian. PSCP has been working to expand the licensing program for the Tara Duncan franchise in multiple other regions across the globe.
The company previously secured licensing representation for Tara Duncan from bRAND-WARD Services in the UK, MDL in Italy, Consumer Products Connection in Spain and Portugal, J&M in the Benelux region, and IMC in several territories across Latin America and the Caribbean.
The licensing agents for the Tara Duncan program are currently seeking partners in retail categories such as toys, games, stationery, apparel, accessories, beauty, personal care, back-to-school, and more.
In addition, PSCP is launching its own range of Tara Duncan inspired figurines, playsets and dolls in France through its French distribution partner WTT.
