The Crayola Experiences attraction in Easton has been featured on USA TODAY’s list of the Best Children’s Museum Readers’ Choice Awards for 2023.
USA TODAY’s Reader’s Choice Awards are intended to highlight the best US destinations in categories such as entertainment, food and drink, hotels, and activities.
The licensed Crayola Experience attraction was nominated for the award by a panel of travel experts and editors and voted on by the public.
“Our mission at Crayola is to help parents and teachers raise creatively-alive kids and our Crayola Experience destinations are the physical manifestation of that mission,” said Crayola SVP Warren Schorr. “It’s an honor to be recognized by travel experts and our guests, and to be included in such prestigious company. We’re incredibly proud of the great work that our teams do to inspire creative experiences and colorful, lifetime family memories.”
Crayola Experience Easton is the Crayola brand’s flagship family entertainment destination.
The 65,000 sq.ft. attraction features immersive experiences such as personalized coloring pages, creating your own Crayola crayon, education on crayon manufacturing, live entertainment, limited-time takeover events, and more. The location also houses The Crayola Store which has the largest selection of licensed Crayola products and souvenirs in the world.
The Crayola Experience brand currently operates four other venues across the US, located in Florida, Minnesota, Texas; and Arizona.
Last September, Crayola announced its intention to open five additional Crayola Experience locations in the region over the next five years.
The construction and development of the new Crayola Experience locations will be accomplished through a licensing agreement with BrightColors, LLC.
A subsidiary of the entertainment company Good Vibrations LLC, BrightColors has more than fifty years of experience in the experiential attraction industry. The company owns, operates and finances numerous family entertainment attractions across the US.
Crayola’s licensing agreement with BrightColors is part of the company’s broader expansion plan for its location-based entertainment initiatives.
