IMG has brokered a licensing partnership between Rovio Entertainment and Four Seasons Design for apparel and accessories collections featuring the Angry Birds brand.
The first co-branded apparel collection is set to launch later this month. The collection will feature original designs by Four Seasons Design’s creative team including themes such as vintage comic books, retro gaming, and 90s pastels. All products will be gender-neutral and available for all ages.
“Our new partnership with Four Seasons is a great fit for Angry Birds’ licensing program,” said Katri Chacona, Director of Brand Licensing at Rovio. “Starting from the first collection, Four Seasons is bringing a fresh take to their designs with a retro and classic look inspired by the original game, which will be exciting for the fans.”
Four Seasons Design, Inc. is a designer and manufacturer of screen-printed apparel, accessories and toys. The company currently sells its products in the US, Canada, and Mexico.
“We are very excited to be working with the Angry Birds team,” said Four Seasons Creative Director Nick Wright. “Angry Birds is an iconic part of modern popular culture, and the FSD creative team is thrilled to bring their experience and creativity together to offer a collection of original designs that honor the impact Angry Birds has had since its introduction in 2009.”
The Angry Birds brand began as a mobile game released in 2009 by Rovio Entertainment. Since the franchise’s initial creation, the Angry Birds brand has grown to include movies, animations, and licensed consumer products. Rovio Entertainment Corporation is a global developer and publisher of video games for mobile devices.
The first Angry Birds apparel and accessories collection will be available for purchase through the official Angry Birds website, as well as Amazon and Walmart’s ecommerce platforms.
