Kid Cudi has partnered with Bisquick for a limited-edition capsule collection that includes a licensed Cudi’s Funnel Cake mix and exclusive merchandise.
Scott Mescudi, aka Kid Cudi, is an American musical artist, director, actor and fashion designer who is known for his melodic and introspective rap lyrics, fashion collaborations and philanthropic ventures.
“Funnel cakes always take me back to summertime as a kid growing up in the Midwest and going to local carnivals and state fairs,” said Kid Cudi. “Partnering with Bisquick on this was a no brainer, they really helped my vision come to life. I wanted to inspire fans to lean into that creativity and bring that nostalgic taste of the fair right into their home.”
Launched in 1931, Bisquick is a pre-made baking mix brand that is owned by General Mills and marketed through its Betty Crocker brand.
The licensed Bisquick x Cudi’s Funnel Cake mix is offered in a collectible box that is adorned with a nostalgic design that features Kid Cudi and his dog Nino at a state fair.
The exclusive design on the Cudi’s Funnel Cake mix box is also printed on a selection of limited-edition merchandise created by Kid Cudi.
The merchandise collection includes a range of official Kid Cudi t-shirts, dinner plates and aprons.
“Whether it’s at the state fair, the county carnival or at the pier, summer isn’t complete until you’ve had a funnel cake,” said General Mills manager, Jenny Jonker. “We love sharing Kid Cudi’s enthusiasm for this treat and are excited to announce this limited-edition mix to help families everywhere extend the fun-filled spirit of summer with iconic funnel cake flavors at home.”
