HarperCollins Children’s Books has secured The Point.1888 to represent the licensing programs for three of its children’s brands.
The Point.1888 is a brand licensing agency that facilitates partnerships between brands, retailers, and manufacturers to create new products.
“We are thrilled to be working with The Point.1888,” said HarperCollins director, John Collins.
“We are looking forward to harnessing their expertise and energy to drive further success for our portfolio of brands and forging new links with best-in-class partners who will be key to delivering our vision for each property.”
The Point.1888 will be responsible for managing the licensing rights to the World of David Walliams, The Tiger Who Came to Tea and Mog the Forgetful Cat.
The three brands’ already have extensive licensing programs across the UK region. The World of David Walliams existing licensing program includes nightwear, greeting cards, games, stationery, bedding, stage productions, TV specials, toiletries, and a theme park ride.
Judith Kerr’s The Tiger Who Came to Tea and Mog the Forgetful Cat licensed merchandise currently includes plush toys, games, puzzles, dress-up, apparel, art prints, stamps, and stationery.

As the new licensing representative for the three childrens’ brands, The Point.1888 will work to further expand their UK presence through long-term growth strategies designed to promote retailer engagement and increase brand awareness.
The Point.1888 will also build new partnerships and work with existing licensees to close retail gaps and expand the product listings for all three brands.
