Harris-Sachs has secured two new licensing partnerships with Nickelodeon’s SpongeBob SquarePants and National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation for its client the RM Palmer Company.
Founded in 2002 through a merger between the JDS Group and Harris & Associates, Harris-Sachs is a boutique licensing consultation agency known for contract negotiation, intellectual property acquisition, and distribution and sales management.
Jim Sachs and Steve Harris run Harris-Sachs using their extensive experience and expansive industry connections. Harris and Sachs have a combined 60 years of experience in licensing, marketing, and distribution.
Harris-Sachs client, RM Palmer, is a US-based manufacturer in novelty confections with 70+ years of experience, and the fifth largest chocolate manufacturer in the United States.
Harris-Sachs notes both SpongeBob SquarePants and the Christmas Vacation have been huge successes in terms of long-term viewership and in licensing.
With 100 million monthly global viewers, 2 billion lifetime YouTube views, and 116 million social followers, SpongeBob SquarePants amps up Palmer’s focus on fun. Retailers across the country will be offering RM Palmer SpongeBob seasonal and everyday products.
The licensing deal with SpongeBob SquarePants will expand the confection company’s sales through the release of licensed RM Palmer x SpongeBob products. These products will be available at retailers across the country.
The licensing partnership with Warner Brothers popular movie, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation, will yield a line of licensed seasonal novelty chocolates to add to RM Palmer’s popular product offerings.
With 28M unique viewers each holiday season, and historically in the top five of all Christmas movies, National Lampoon’s Christmas Vacation is another powerful addition to Palmer’s already strong seasonal novelty chocolates line, the agency says.
