The non-profit association Lamaze International has appointed IMC Licensing as its exclusive brand licensing agency.
Lamaze is a non-profit organization that was formerly known as the American Society for Psychoprophylaxis in Obstetrics. The organization offers support to healthcare professionals and families through evidence-based education and advocacy.
They offer continuing education to doulas, nurses, midwives and other front-line birth workers through the Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator (LCCE) certification. The LCCE certification has been accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA).
“Lamaze International is dedicated to partnering with brands that support families during preconception, pregnancy, and early parenthood, sharing our mission,” said Lamaze president, Kacy Cutler. “We look forward to collaborating with IMC to expand the Lamaze mission and brand.”
IMC is a global brand licensing and marketing agency that offers a full-service approach to its clients.
As Lamaze’s exclusive licensing agency, IMC will be responsible for managing its existing licensing program and building new brand partnerships for the organization.
The new partnerships will be related to Lamaze International’s mission to promote healthy pregnancies, birth, and early parenting.
“Lamaze supported my wife and me in the natural childbirth of our three children and all of us at IMC look forward to expanding the reach and impact of Lamaze with great new family products,” said IMC CEO, Stephen Reily.
Lamaze International’s program is based on a childbirth method that was popularized by the French obstetrician, Ferdinand Lamaze.
