The celebrated New York designer Isaac Mizrahi has partnered with E&H Collection to design, develop and distribute fine jewelry, in a multi-year agreement.
The deal was brokered by Starwood Brands; a brand licensing agency that represents top-tier manufacturers in their licensing partnerships.
The deal brings together E&H Collections as a leading manufacturer and distributor of precious and alternative metal jewelry, with one of America’s top designers.
“We are very pleased to welcome Isaac Mizrahi to our brand portfolio,” said E&H CEO Henry Chalouh, “We believe this contemporary, sophisticated brand presents a growth opportunity across a number of important categories.
“With our wide range of resources, we are confident that we can grow Isaac Mizrahi into a meaningful brand for us and our retail customers.”
Mizrahi was practically born into the fashion industry, born in Brooklyn to parents Sarah and Zeke Mizrahi, who was a children’s clothing manufacturer. Mizrahi’s father set him on his path to fame as a designer when he gave him a sewing machine at the age of 10, and by the time he turned 15, Mizrahi launched his own label, IS New York, with the help of a family friend.
Since then Mizrahi has become one of America’s best known and most successful designers, and also a star in television and film, starting with his debut role in the hit movie Fame. In his fashion career Mizrahi has launched several successful ventures and licensed collections, while to the general public he may be best known for his role as the main judge in the hit show Project Runway All Stars.
The ISAAC MIZRAHI brand was later purchased by WHP Global, a leading New York based firm that acquires global consumer brands and invests in high-growth distribution channels.
Mizrahi has already been involved in jewelry design, and this latest venture partners him with a company that has become a preferred vendor for thousands of retail outlets worldwide. E&H Collections’ designs include gold, sterling silver, and brass with a diverse offering of basic and fashion jewelry.
E&H Collections expects to begin shipping the Mizrahi collection in the second quarter of 2023.
