Less than a year after its launch, the Prime Video kids’ channel Pash is expanding into the France and Poland markets.
Pash is a joint effort by Studio 100 Media and ZDF Studios, and offers viewers a wide selection of kids & family programs.
The Pash channel became available in France on March 8, and in Poland on March 20, carrying a range of series from both Studio 100 and ZDF. Both are major studios for family programming in Europe. Some of their major brands include Maya the Bee, H2O – Just Add Water, Mia and Me (pictured above), The Jungle Book, The Bureau of Magical Things, Heidi, and more.
Pash is an important resource for its target audience, but also for licensees, as it brings international content to several countries in multiple languages. While the channel is very new, it already offers hundreds of animated or live action shows and films that appeal to kids and their parents.
It is also the product of two of the largest studios on the continent.
ZDF Studios is a commercial subsidiary of ZDF, one of the largest TV broadcasters in Europe. Founded in 1993 and headquartered in Mainz, Germany, the ZDF Studios Group operates more than 30 direct and indirect subsidiaries and affiliates in Germany, the Netherlands and the United Kingdom spanning TV production, distribution and services.
ZDF Studios also has the largest German-language program inventory in the world, and a constantly growing range of international productions, consisting of series and mini-series, television films, documentaries and children’s programs.
Studio 100 was founded in Belgium in 1996, and has quickly grown to become one of the largest independent entertainment companies in the world.
Studio 100 is involved in a huge variety of entertainment productions, including TV shows and films, live shows, theme parks, online games and book publishing. The company now has offices in Belgium, the Netherlands, Germany, France, Poland, Australia, and now the United States.
