Konami Cross Media NY has signed Fashion UK, Kovert and Mister SFC as new licensing partners for the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.
Yu-Gi-Oh! is a global anime and manga franchise that encompasses numerous manga series, over 900 anime episodes, several animated feature films, an official trading card game, video and mobile games, and a wide range of licensed consumer products.
The franchise began the official 25th anniversary celebration of its global launch earlier this year.
“We are excited for the continuing growth into new categories,” said Konami Cross Media VP, Jennifer Coleman. “From sustainable clothing, to gym workout wear, to jewelry, these new deals will bring a lot of buzz around Yu-Gi-Oh! products not previously available to its fans.”
The new Yu-Gi-Oh! licensees are intended to expand the franchise’s apparel and accessories offering to increase its appeal for the young adult demographic.
Fashion UK, Kovert and Mister SFC will bring an array of exclusive Yu-Gi-Oh! product designs including sustainable clothing, anime-inspired gym outfits and jewelry.
Fashion UK is a manufacturing and supply company that specializes in licensed apparel and accessories.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! x Fashion UK collection will be developed and manufactured using sustainably sourced materials such as organic cotton and recycled polyester.
Kovert is a US-based manufacturing company that focuses on anime-themed gym apparel and accessories.
The Kovert x Yu-Gi-Oh! merchandise collection will feature high-quality apparel and accessories intended for use during gym workouts.
Mister SFC is a licensed jewelry manufacturing company that is known for its high-quality handmade products and its talented in-house design team.
The Yu-Gi-Oh! x Mister SFC jewelry collection is intended to mark the 25th anniversary of the anime franchise’s trading card game.
The licensed merchandise collections will be available for purchase in time for the 2023 holiday season.
Konami Cross Media will be exhibiting at Stand D110 at this year’s Brand Licensing Europe event to identify additional merchandising opportunities for the Yu-Gi-Oh! franchise.
