The licensed theatrical production, Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show! has added additional performance dates that extend its U.S. tour schedule by 12 months.
The theatrical production is based on the Bluey animated children’s series created by Joe Brumm. The TV series follows a young Blue Heeler puppy and her family as they play imaginative games in their daily life.
Based on a new original story by Brumm, the theatrical production features puppetry, live actors, detailed sets, and new music from Bluey series composer, Joff Bush.
The U.S. tour of Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show initially launched in NYC in November 2022 and has now been extended through July 2024, with additional stops in about 120 cities across the country.
“Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show has been wowing audiences at every venue and we’re delighted to provide more Bluey fans across the country with the opportunity to experience the show,” said Windmill Theatre Co. director, Rosemary Myers. “We’ve received many, many requests for additional tour dates and we’re so pleased that more fans will be able to see Bluey’s world come to life in their hometowns.”
The tour extension also includes returns to numerous cities such as Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, San Francisco, and Denver.
This announcement follows the release of Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show!’s first-ever tour dates in Canada, Ireland, and the UK.
Bluey’s Big Play The Stage Show is presented by BBC Studios and Andrew Kay’s HVK Productions subsidiary in association with Windmill Theatre Co.

The series is currently available on Disney+, Disney Junior and Disney Channel.
