Licensed Right International has signed an agreement with Laurel Burch Studios to represent the late artist Laurel Burch.
The licensing agency will be representing the art and design of Laurel Burch in North America.
Laurel Burch was an American painter, entrepreneur, product designer and licensor who was active in the surrealist fantasy art scene from the late 1960s until her death in 2007. Featuring vibrant colors and bold lines, Burch’s artistic works were inspired by the natural world, myths and legends from a variety of cultures and her own internal experience.
Laurel Burch Studios is the owner of the North American licensing rights of an extensive archive of original Laurel Burch pieces. This archive includes thousands of original paintings, drawings, and sketches from the late artist.
“It’s an honor to represent the licensing needs of Laurel Burch, an iconic artist and lifestyle brand with a storied history and reputation dating back to the 1960s in the San Francisco Bay Area,” said Licensed Right International CEO Janet Dwoskin. “The Laurel Burch brand continues to move in exciting new directions that resonate not only with Laurel’s original fans but also with many younger demographics.”
The Laurel Burch brand currently offers licensed products in categories such as jewelry, accessories, apparel, arts, crafts, home, garden and stationary.
As the new licensing representative for Laura Burch Studios, Licensed Right International is now seeking new partnerships and collaborations across all available categories.
Laurel Burch Studios official ecommerce website and social media platforms will promote cross-category selling to provide additional exposure for its new and existing licensing partners.
