The Licensing Letter is launching its annual survey of the licensing industry, and we want to hear from you!
So much so, that we’re increasing the available rewards for those licensing pros who take the time and trouble to fill out the annual survey.
We know your time is valuable, so this year, anyone who fills out the survey and provides an email address where we can send the prize, will receive the TLL Licensing Royalty Trends Report, and will also be entered into a draw for a $500 Amazon gift card. The report is a $429 value, and will be sent to survey respondents as soon as the report is complete, expected in May this year.
The Licensing Letter has been compiling data on licensing royalty rates and policies since 1978, and the more responses we receive, the better and more useful the data will be.
The 2022 report included more than 80 pages of in-depth analysis and detailed charts. Unlike most reports, the 2022 version focused on the three years of the pandemic, showing both the negative impact on licensing royalties in 2020 and 2021, but also the recovery in 2022. That report also uncovered how licensing companies had changed the way their licensing contracts were written, providing valuable strategic insights for anyone in the licensing industry.
The 2022 Licensing Royalty Trends Report is available at This Link. Don’t forget, anyone with a TLL Prime Account also receives all TLL reports for free. If you don’t have a TLL Prime account, contact Andrea Stowe to learn more at andrea@plainlanguagemedia.com.
This year the Licensing Royalty Trends Report goes back to its regular format, but will include an in-depth look at the global and US economy as it pertains to the licensing industry. It will also include data on average licensing royalties by category and overall, and detailed charts showing how licensing contracts change year over year in response to economic factors.
