Longaberger and Crayola are launching a new licensed collection of hand-woven home accessories inspired by Crayola’s range of colorful art products.
A subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Crayola is a global art supply company that focuses on creative expression products, activities and experiences for children and families.
The licensed Longaberger x Crayola collection includes four artisanal basket designs that are available in several distinct colorways.
Each hand-woven Longaberger basket design and color combination features well-known colors from Crayola’s product portfolio.
“Crayola is known for inspiring creativity through color,” said Crayola GM, April Heeren. “This collaboration combines Longaberger’s signature style and design with Crayola’s iconic shape and colors for a collection that is imaginative, one of a kind, joyful.”
Longaberger is an American home collectibles brand that specializes in creating and manufacturing artisanal baskets and home decorations that are made from hand-woven maple.
The Longaberger Company was acquired by the media and consumer products company, Xcel Brands, in 2019.
Following the acquisition, Xcel Brands launched a digital social media marketing and ecommerce business model for the Longaberger brand.
The co-branded collection of Longaberger x Crayola home goods will launch exclusively through Xcel Brands official Longaberger website.
“We are thrilled to see this partnership come to life with the first Longaberger x Crayola Collection,” said Xcel Brands president, Joe Falco. “This collaboration will inspire creativity, promote self-expression, and bring color, the greatest luxury, into your home.”
