Matte Black Coffee and VIZ Media have partnered on a co-branded art installation, menu and merchandise collection inspired by BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War.
Matte Black Coffee is an LA-based specialty coffee shop that features a distinctive black and white comic book-style design aesthetic, small food items, and coffee and cold brew beverages sourced from Mostra Coffee.
The limited-edition Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War menu includes Ichigo’s OJ Espresso, Ichigo’s Strawberry Lemonade, and TYBW Toast – ABCookies style. The co-branded promotion will also feature limited- edition BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War merchandise.
The BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War TV series is based on Tite Kubo’s manga of the same name. Thousand-Year Blood War Part Two is currently streaming on Hulu in the US, Star+ in Latin America and Disney+ in select countries internationally.
VIZ Media is an entertainment company that specializes in publishing, licensing, and distributing Japanese properties in the categories of manga, anime, film, TV, games, and more. It owns the global licensing and distribution rights to the BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War IP in all territories, excluding Asia.
Both the menu items and merchandise for the collaboration will be available for purchase until Aug. 10, 2023 at Matte Black Coffee in the Fred Segal shopping center.
