The recently-launched Renaissance Licensing agency has officially announced its initial roster of clients.
The agency’s initial client roster includes global licensing representation for the estates of late film stars Steve McQueen and Charlie Chaplin, as well as for the retro file-sharing brand LimeWire.
“My family and I are thrilled to be working with Renaissance Licensing, and to continue protecting my father’s legacy with Liz and Ryan,” said Chad McQueen. “We have worked with both of them for years in their prior roles, and look forward to their continued partnership.”
Renaissance will work alongside ALG Brands to expand the global consumer product programs for a select number for its clients. ALG Brands specializes in music estate management and IP rights representation for entertainment and pop culture brands.
Renaissance Licensing has also been appointed to represent the Snowtap illustration brand for the North American retail market.

In addition, the agency has been named a strategic partner of 4 Art Partners to assist in bringing their portfolio of fine art and illustration brands to new markets through a wide range of licensed products. The 4 Art Partners agency represents the rights to a wide range of artists such as Edward Gorey, Remedios, Omar Rayo and more.
Founded in 2023 by long-time business associates Liz Van Denburg and Ryan Kernan, Renaissance Licensing offers more than thirty years of combined experience in the international licensing industry across a wide variety of brands, product categories and territories.
Van Denburg has previously worked at high-profile organization’s such as the Walt Disney Company, Beanstalk and BENlabs. At BENlabs, Van Denburg was responsible for leading the development of the global consumer product programs for both Steve McQueen and Albert Einstein. Her areas of expertise include health, beauty, tech, apparel, motorsports and automotive accessories.
Ryan Kernan has previously experience working on licensing programs for company’s such as Nautica Apparel, Wayfair, BENlabs and Hemingway Inc. His areas of expertise include apparel, accessories, home furnishings and hospitality.
