The Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) has signed a licensing agreement with Haws Watering Cans for a three-year promotional partnership.
The long-term agreement will include new licensed products, consumer advice initiatives, and official product endorsements.
Haws is a UK-based manufacturing company that offers a wide selection of indoor and outdoor gardening products such as watering cans, sets, jugs, misters, sprinklers, and spray lances.
Every Haws product uses environmentally-friendly packaging, watering efficiency technology, and more.
“With more than 130 years as a leading name in watering cans, Haws is synonymous with quality and excellence, an absolute must for any potential RHS partner,” said RHS LM, Cathy Snow. “We’re delighted to be endorsing Haws products and working with Haws to support good watering practices.”
Founded in 1804, the RHS is a non-profit gardening charity for the UK region.
The RHS provides services such as gardening events, public botanical gardens, educational initiatives, botanical research and more.
“We have been focused on making brilliant watering cans for gardeners since 1886 and are thrilled to be working with the RHS,” said Haws Watering Cans CD, Mark Jenner-Parson. “Our combined passion for gardening and gardeners means we are both really excited for the future. The art of watering is critical to the team at Haws, and we know that new products and guidance on best watering practices will flow from this collaboration.”
The upcoming RHS x Haws collection will include new watering products based on botanical art and images from the RHS Lindley Collections.
The RHS Lindley Collections contain more than 25,000 images from botanical artists throughout the UK.
The RHS will also provide official endorsements for the entire range of Haws watering cans that are currently available for purchase, and the RHS name will appear on both Haws watering can tags and at points of sale.
The RHS-endorsed product range is currently available online at the official Haws website, British garden centres, and additional ecommerce platforms in the UK market.
