RWS Global has announced a long-term, exclusive partnership with the branded retail experiences company, CAMP.
Initially launched in 2018, CAMP is a location-based experiences company that specializes in creating immersive retail experiences based on licensed entertainment IP.
The company currently operates seven rotating retail-entertainment store locations throughout the United States that feature family-friendly brands such as BBC’s Bluey, Disney’s Encanto and Universal’s Trolls, as seen in the above photo.
“We are so excited to partner with the CAMP team, who shares our passion for creating unforgettable family experiences,” said RWS Global CEO, Ryan Stana. “When we combine our unparalleled expertise in live event planning, casting and attractions with CAMP’s brand equity and engaged audience, we believe there is an opportunity for significant growth across the family entertainment sector.”
Per the terms of the new long-term agreement, RWS Global will serve as CAMP’s exclusive operating partner for its existing shows, touring initiatives, CAMP product development, retail services and the creation of new IP-based experiences.
To facilitate the partnership, RWS Global’s Ryan Stana has been appointed to CAMP’s advisory board to provide additional guidance on bringing the company’s branded experiences and shows to life.
CAMP and RWS Global will soon open two new immersive entertainment locations in Philadelphia at the King of Prussia Mall and at The Galleria in Houston, Texas.
“Through this strategic partnership, we’re unlocking the potential for exponential growth by leveraging RWS Global’s production services, empowering us to amplify our focus on delivering what defines CAMP’s brand magic,” said CAMP CEO, Jenica Myszkowski. “We are thrilled to partner with RWS Global to truly transform the theatrical side of our business and prepare CAMP for scale.”
RWS Global is a live entertainment production company that offers a full range of services related to the creation, design, development, production and operation of a wide range of customized live experiences. Their expertise includes events and productions in categories such as theatrical productions, live concerts, multimedia presentations, cruise ship entertainment, museum and gallery activations, sporting events, theme park attractions, resort hospitality and more.
CAMP’s new long-term partnership with RWS Global follows the company’s recent announcement of a strategic partnership with the Simon Property Group, a US-based real estate investment trust that focuses on investing in and funding shopping malls and activity centers across the country.
