The animation and VFX studio, Saffronic is expanding its executive team with the appointment of Kevin J. Johnson as its first executive creative director.
In his new role at Saffronic, Johnson will work alongside Kristy Scanlan, the company’s SVP of business development, to secure partnerships with new clients and strengthen relationships with existing clients.
In addition, he will be responsible for communicating creative concepts and solutions to the company’s stakeholders, internal teams, and clients.
He will also lead Saffronic’s ongoing productions to ensure the projects remain within the client’s budget and provide satisfactory results.

Johnson has over 30 years of experience in the animation industry. His previous experience in the industry includes multiple different animation styles such as hand-drawn animation, live-action VFX, and 3D-CGI animation.
Prior to joining Saffronic, he served as supervising director for the Curious George TV show at Universal 1440 Entertainment.
