Tapatío and Idahoan Foods are releasing a co-branded new product called Idahoan Tapatío Triple Cheese Mashed Potatoes.
Tapatió is a family-owned business that has been producing branded hot sauce since 1971. Since its creation, the Tapatió hot sauce brand has expanded to include an extensive range of licensed consumer products that includes condiments, seasonings, snacks, meals, apparel and more.
“At Tapatío, we look for partners that bring the same passion for their products that we do, which is why working with the team over at Idahoan was a no brainer,” said Tapatío director, Roche McCoy. “Idahoan Tapatío Triple Cheese Mashed Potatoes bring the perfect balance of savory, cheesy goodness and the signature Tapatío heat to an all-new eating experience.”
The licensed product includes the classic flavor of Tapatió hot sauce with Idahoan’s high-quality dried mashed potatoes and three varieties of cheese flavors.
“We are eager to expand our most popular on-the-go line with a new flavor-packed option designed for potato fans looking for convenience and great taste,” said Idahoan Foods VP, Ryan Ellis. “The launch of this product showcases our commitment to innovation and listening to consumers.”
The Idahoan Tapatío Triple Cheese Mashed Potatoes product is available for purchase in easy heat packs of four single-serving cups.
Initially launched 1951, Idahoan is a US-based manufacturing company and food brand that specializes in producing high-quality, dehydrated potato products such as mashed potatoes, hash browns and scalloped potatoes.
The collaborative licensing partnership with Idahoan was brokered by Tapatío’s exclusive licensing agency, Brand Central.
