Playmate Toys has created action figures based on Teenaged Mutant Ninja Turtles that can mutate as needed.
The new Mutations Mix ‘N Match Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles action figures are based on the upcoming Paramount+ animated series Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.
As a terrifying new foe emerges in New York City, the Turtles have to lend a hand to their allies, quite literally. The new toy sets allow users to swap out limbs and heads between all the different characters to create unique mutants with new abilities. The mutation variations are almost endless, with hundreds of possible combinations between the various characters.
With the Mix’n’Match line, Playmate says you can combine Donnie’s brains with Raphael’s muscle, or Leo’s leadership ability with Mikey’s agility and dance moves.
The figures arrive with pre-mutated features, so the Leonardo character, for example, comes with his own weapons, but with Metalhead’s head and Splinter’s right arm.
Each figure stands approximately 4.5 inches tall and is authentically sculpted to match their animated character in Tales of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which will premiere on Paramount+ this summer. The mutants are priced individually at $9.99 and will be on sale in August.
The collection is a collaboration between brand owner Paramount and Playmate Toys, a toy company with more than 50 years of experience of creating top products and managing long-term brand franchises.
Some of the top brands Playmate works with include Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Star Trek, Miraculous, MonsterVerse, and more.
