Cyber Group Studios has promoted Raphaelle Mathieu from SVP sales to a newly created role as Executive Vice President.
Mathieu will now be in charge of all commercial activities worldwide for the French studio. She will work directly with CEO Pierre Sissmann and COO Dominique Bourse to plan strategies for overall growth.
“As the company is now developing into an international group comprised of many talented companies and executives worldwide, I am very pleased to have Raphaelle take more responsibilities in coordinating our overall commercial activities and finding synergies worldwide to grow our overall business,” said Sissmann.
Mathieu said her focus will be on growing and maintaining the company’s international relationships. “We want to motivate creativity of the best talents worldwide to make super-cool animation for kids and families on linear and non-linear platforms, and my role is to allow this to happen in the best way possible,” Mathieu said.
For example, Mathieu says she wants to schedule a series of in-person meetings around the world to find new relationships or strengthen existing ones; something she believes has been lacking during the pandemic.
The promotion comes during a period when Cyber Group has been expanding globally through series of M&A ventures, including the acquisition of majority shares in A Productions in the UK, Scrawl Animation in Singapore, and Graphilm Entertainment in Italy.
